Usher, The Singer, Allegedly Paid Woman 1 Million For Giving Her Herpes
A woman who accused Usher of exposing her to herpes now confirms she contracted the STD.
The “U Got It Bad” singer, after a $1.1 million settlement with a woman who claimed he infected her with herpes, now faces a $20 million lawsuit from a second woman, who just days ago filed suit for $10 million and has now upped her demands after finding out she contracted the disease, TMZ reports.
Jane Doe, as she is referred to in the suit, reportedly found out the results on Saturday and was “devastated,” according to the gossip site. She increased her demands after learning she tested positive, citing emotional distress, medical bills and punitive damages, according to TMZ.
She claims she performed oral sex on Usher and had sex with him while using a condom during an April encounter in Atlanta, and that the pair then had unprotected sex days later in New Orleans, TMZ reports.
She insists she never would have slept with Usher if she was aware he was infected.
The suit alleges Usher never warned the woman that he was carrying the herpes virus — and she only recently learned she could be infected after reading recent reports that the “U Got it Bad” singer paid $1.1 million to another woman who claimed the R&B star infected her with herpes.

Weeks after it was revealed Usher reportedly paid a woman $1.1 million in 2012 to settle a lawsuit after she claimed to have contracted herpes from him, three more individuals are suing the singer alleging he failed to warm them of his STD diagnosis.
Attorney Lisa Bloom — who is representing Rob Kardashian‘s ex Blac Chyna in her revenge-porn case against the reality star — plans to file a lawsuit in California on Monday on behalf of the alleged victims, she stated in a press release on Friday.

Usher’s insurance company put him on notice, with legal papers — it will NOT pay for the $20 million herpes lawsuit against him if he loses because his policy doesn’t cover STDs.
Three people are suing Usher, claiming he did not inform them that he allegedly tested positive for herpes before having sexual contact. Attorney Lisa Bloom is representing the three plaintiffs, who filed the suit in Los Angeles. The lawsuit includes charges of sexual battery, fraud, negligence and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Usher‘s insurance company claims the singer didn’t just allegedly hide his herpes diagnosis from his sexual partners, but from them as well — which they believe means they shouldn’t have to fork over a dime on his behalf.
According to court documents filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court — and obtained by PEOPLE — New York Marine and General Insurance Company believe they are under no obligation to defend the singer in his current lawsuits in Georgia and California or any potential lawsuits that may come down the road.
Among their list of reasons, New York Marine claims the policy between them and Usher “does not apply to ‘bodily injury’ … arising out of the transmission of any communicable diseases by insured.”
A 21-year-old Usher fan says he had sex with her on her birthday ‘without revealing he had herpes’ and the disease could have caused her ‘birthing complications.’
It’s illegal in America to keep your STD a secret from your sexual partner.
Quantasia Sharpton is sueing the singer claiming he knowingly exposed her to herpes and failed to disclose his alleged diagnosis before engaging in sexual contact with her, leaving her suffering ‘stress, depression, [and] anxiety.’
Two other people – whom are anonymously known as Jane Doe and John Doe – are also suing the singer.
