Have you seen that botched The Mummy trailer yet? If not, take a gander now. It is truly a transcendental experience that could awaken even the deadest of mummy souls.

In this unfinished clip, which was mistakenly posted to the official IMAX YouTube page even though it’s missing at least a few layers of sound editing, Tom Cruise’s wails are the star of the show.

And man, oh man, are they goofy. The whole debacle is living proof of just how many steps go into making the media we consume—and how important every one of them is.
